This side event will look at how the energy-water nexus affects economic resilience. During the session, recommendations will be made on actions that States in the Americas could take to strengthen the role of the water and energy sectors in fostering economic resilience. In addition, presenters will discuss the role of the private sector in the energy and water sectors in fostering economic resilience. Finally, the session will conclude with a sharing of experiences on the role of energy and water in fostering economic resilience in American countries
