The session is intended to provide concise but relevant information about the wildfires and/or lightning information systems in the Americas. This session particularly aims to:
- Review wildfire monitoring, prediction and response in the Americas.
- Review the region’s progress and challenges in lightning detection and prediction.
- Identify best practices for integrating lightning and wildfire data systems.
- Improve current risk management approaches for these hazards.
- Share the IBC’s findings on CC and wildfire resilience.
