The Official Statements for the RP23 can be submitted via the RP23 website through this submission form starting from 15 January 2023.
Delegations are encouraged to submit their statements as soon as possible. Statements submitted at the latest by 1 February 2023 will be available on the website by 23 February 2023. Statements submitted after this may only be available on the RP23 website after 28 February.
Please note that only persons authorized to speak on behalf of a specific Member State, stakeholder group, international or regional organizations, can submit a statement. UNDRR will liaise with the person submitting the statement in unclear cases to confirm identity and mandate.
For detailed information on how to submit the Official Statement please refer to the Official Statements Guidance Note. Please note that video and audio specifications must be followed for Official Statements to be accepted.
Written Statements: are made via the RP Website or other agreed means and should not exceed 500 words.
Countries are encouraged to ensure that orally-delivered statements do not exceed five (5) minutes. All orally-delivered statements will be shared as video-recorded and made available to the public via the RP website.
Registration for official statements will open in 2023.
